Dear friends, partners and members of the community, Community matters—it’s the foundation and ethos for bringing about change. 2023 was a busy year for our organization and we are excited to share what we’ve been working on! A Global Ecosystem for Health & Healing In June 2023, following our field research trip to Cuba where we learned about the country’s humanitarian health crisis and its high demand for medical aid and treatment, we returned home with a sense of urgency to help our global community and began our research and due diligence to establish our international humanitarian relief program Hope for Health! Hope for Health! directly impacts the civilian population in communities around the world with limited to restricted access to medical aid and services. Our humanitarian efforts and activities help meet basic human needs such as food, nutrition or medicine distribution and the provision of health services. Fast forward to February 2024, and after 8 long months of planning and preparing, we are overjoyed to announce that our community partners at DHL Express delivered our first shipment of humanitarian aid to our global community in Cuba. We could not have done this without their support and the generous contributions from the community and would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who has supported our mission. This is only the beginning, and we are working on sending our second shipment to Cuba! Thanks to our partners at DHL Express, we are expanding our program reach and are partnering with other global organizations and companies to increase our humanitarian assistance in Cuba, and, hopefully soon, extend our reach to more of the global community. We would love for the community to share our story; the more people we can reach, the greater the impact and possibilities we can create.
